丹华与陈明老师结缘，源于丹华的李卫老师带孩子参加鹿特丹区的一个荷兰夏令营。当时陈明是夏令营的指导老师。因为长着西方人的面孔，所以当他用流利的中文问候李老师时，不由得引起了李卫老师的好奇心。交谈中得知，陈明老师有志于帮助各族裔新一代年轻人学习中文和电脑语言等技能。
随着荷兰疫情的逐渐解封，在家长和同学们的热切期盼下，经过学校的周密安排和老师们的精心准备，终于在2021年6月26日迎来了丹华的开放日。这一天教师们都以饱满的热情迎接新同学和家长们的到来。
